Certificates
Podravka's system is based on the principles of the most important standards and practices in the food industry, as confirmed by the following certificates.
The Better Life label (Beter Leven keurmerk) is a Dutch certification system established in 2007 by the Dutch Society for Animal Protection (Dierenbescherming) with the aim of enhancing animal welfare in the production of milk, eggs, and dairy products. This standard sets stricter conditions for breeding, transporting, and slaughtering animals compared to conventional methods and applies throughout the entire production chain. Labeling is based on a star system (1-3 stars), where a higher number of stars indicates a greater level of animal welfare.
